How to commission something from JulesStuff

If you have your own idea you'd like me to build please include as much information as you can on the enquiry form including size, materials and what kind of budget you are working to.  I'll then work with you to develop the idea into a working concept.​

How much?​

The cost of items varies depending on what materials you want to use and and how detailed the item is.  All wood is different with different graining and patina so I cannot remake something exactly the same as you see in my gallery.   If you ask for different materials or extra detailing, this can be accomodated. Once you have contacted me, I'll respond to your enquiry as soon as I can with a price and drawings if asked for. If this is acceptable to you, you can place your order. ​Please be aware I only have one workshop and two pairs of hands I will make stuff as soon as I can. I will give you a rough timetable of when I can start and hopefully a finish time.

​​Because I will be doing this for you and not me, I  will ask for a minimum deposit of 50% on all orders over £50  to cover the cost of materials.  On large items the deposit required may be higher. This will be discussed when agreeing your order. (It costs nothing to ask, estimates are free!)

When will I get it?

While I try to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible unfortunatly a back log can build up. I often have to wait for parts and for the availability of materials at outlets. If you need an item for a specific date, please mention this in your enquiry and I will shout at my computer louder.

Delivery

​Delivery costs will vary depending destination, size and weight of the object. Delivery costs will be based on the exact cost of posting your object as I'm not in it for the extra cash. Collection in person is also available. (See contacts)
